What Does Hotel Video Production Actually Cost in London? (And What Moves the Price)

28 August 2026

Ask five London production companies what a hotel video costs and you'll get five versions of "it depends." It does depend — but not on mystery. Here's what actually moves the price, so you can budget before you ever speak to anyone. Including us.

The three things that set the price

1. Shoot time. A focused half-day covers one space done properly — a restaurant, a spa, a suite. A full production day (from £950) covers a property story: rooms, F&B, staff, atmosphere. Most hotel hero films are one full day. Two-day shoots exist, but they're for multi-outlet properties, not a single hotel with a nice bar.

2. The number of deliverables — not the number of ideas. One hero film and three social cuts from the same footage is a normal package. Ten deliverables is not "the same shoot, more exports" — every edit is designed, graded and mixed separately. This is where quotes quietly double, so make your deliverables list before you compare prices.

3. People on screen. Real staff and real guests cost nothing and perform better than actors for hotel content. Models, actors or influencer talent add casting, fees and usage rights. If a proposal includes "lifestyle talent" you didn't ask for, that's a line worth questioning.

What doesn't move the price (despite what you've been told)

The camera. The drone — we rent one when the shot earns it; you shouldn't pay for gear ownership. The "cinematic look" — that's the baseline in 2026, not an upgrade. If someone is charging you extra for colour grading, they've priced the basics as extras.

Where the money actually goes

Roughly: a third on the shoot day itself, a third on the edit — the invisible part: selection, story, sound, grade, revisions — and a third on everything that makes it usable: versions for Instagram and TikTok, aspect ratios, captions, delivery. A £950 shoot-only day exists precisely for teams with their own editors.

The honest numbers

We publish our price bands — the full breakdown is in our hotel video production cost guide: hero films, social content, shoot-only days, and the 2026 rates for each. And if you want to see how we'd approach your property specifically, our hotel video production page shows real films made for London hotels — art'otel, Park Plaza, The Clermont, Hard Rock Hotel — with the thinking behind them.

Or skip the reading: our estimator gives you an exact price in 60 seconds. No email required, no sales call unless you want one. Every project comes with our 100% Use-It-or-Don't-Pay Guarantee — if the film doesn't beat what your homepage does today, you don't pay.
